These micro-square sensors are engineered with IP67-rated plastic housings and integrated metal mounting holes to withstand heavy machine vibrations and harsh environments.
The series features two primary variations:
Background Suppression (BGS) Models: These diffuse sensors use precise triangulation to detect flat, non-bright target surfaces over a 10–120 mm operating range. They completely ignore highly reflective or complex backgrounds regardless of target color or finish variations.
Thru-Beam Transmitter and Receiver Models: This configuration splits the emitter and receiver into separate housings to create an uninterrupted optical barrier over a 1-meter operating range. It functions at a rapid 800 Hz switching frequency, making it ideal for high-speed counting and reliable edge positioning of opaque or vibrating objects.
