    HTM Sensors manufactures a highly adaptive line of industrial capacitive proximity sensors. They utilize an electric field rather than an inductive magnetic field to detect both metallic and non-metallic objects. This makes them highly effective for tracking targets with low electrical conductivity, such as liquids, plastics, powders, pellets, and pastes. These point-level and object-sensing systems operate by measuring shifts in capacitance inside the sensor’s localized electrostatic field. When a target approaches the active face, it alters the dielectric constant within the field, triggering a solid-state circuit switch once it passes a set threshold. Learn more ...
